As a Business Developer at Nordic BioVentures, you will have the opportunity to explore new opportunities, solve tomorrow's challenges, and help build bio-based startups. You will be part of a small and dedicated venture-building team that works with venture building and fundraising/investment.

We are a Venture Creation Studio focused on biosolutions. We partner with incredible entrepreneurs to create biosolutions that have a positive impact on society and the planet. We have our own investment fund that enables us to execute fast and focused with co-founders and strategic partners. We focus on building ventures within biosolutions!

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Dive into collaborative biotech research and development projects with early-stage biotech startups.

• Industrial Biotech-focused business development 

• Fundraising support for portfolio and affiliated companies

• Helping our startup projects and co-founders with everything from pitch decks, customer acquisition and PoC development (depending on your personal skills, experience and strengths)

• Administrative and operational tasks

🧍Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Infused with passion for growing biotech startups and VC, especially the business side.

• Excellent team player, capable of not just collaborating but inspiring and motivating others.

• Creative thinker with a thirst to tackle real-life problems through bioinnovation.

• Fluent in English at a professional level, Danish is a plus

• You have great people & communication skills

• You are legally allowed to work in Denmark (Danish, EU citizen or work permit).

• MSc or PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Bio-Business Administration, Business Development, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.

📝 Practical:

This is a paid part-time position with flexible hours, mainly at Nomad Workspace in Blegdamsvej 6, Copenhagen N. You will have the opportunity to become part of an ambitious Venture Creation Studio on an exciting growth journey and have a real startup experience. The position will start out as part-time, with the possibility to go full-time in the future.
