At Global Startup Awards, we are looking for a curious, passionate, self-disciplined Project Assistant to join our awesome team! Global Startup Awards is operated by www.xo.company.

As our new Innovation Project Assistant, you will be working closely on the global competition, which is the heart and DNA of the Global Startup Awards. You will get a chance to learn about startups and startup ecosystems from all over the world as well as to communicate with them in regard to the competition. We have developed our own IT system to which you will get your access.

We will guarantee that you not only learn a lot about startups but you will also develop yourself professionally and personally.

Who are we?

The Global Startup Awards is the largest independent startup ecosystem competition with the mission to find, recognise and connect future shapers of the digital age from all around the world. Being part of the Global Startup Awards means being part of a global tribe that seeks to aid and advance entrepreneurial ecosystems worldwide.

We are currently established in 12 regions covering 120 countries. The regions are; Nordic Startup Awards, Central European Startup Awards, Southern European Startup Awards, Euro-Asian Startup Awards, ASEAN Startup Awards, SAARC Startup Awards and five regions covering the entire African continent.

Your tasks will be:

• Posting on social media (surprise).

• Creating graphical content. Not to be a photoshop expert, but you know how to edit templates and make simple things (maybe you also know other tools to hack the creation of visuals).

• Working with our professional partner on video creation.

• Updating our websites (using simple CMS, no programming).

• Writing simple blog posts based on interviews.

• Online meetings with our stakeholders around the world.

The person we are looking for is:

• A person who writes perfect English.

• A person who is always looking at the top brands to be inspired for new ideas to implement.

• You have a good visual aesthetic taste.

• Basic understanding of how to hack the creation of video content for SoME (of course, you know that video content is converting better)

• A person who will be responsible and self-driven. Yes, this is a student job, but it is not a typical student job where you get a manual and where you count your hours.

• You do not be a master of everything, but your main motivation is to always learn and find ways to do things better and smarter. 

• Someone ready to come onboard on our small Inflatable boat, which we are taking across the big ocean :)

• Finally, of course, you are nice and have a good attitude.
