Engineering Manager - Platform Experience

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to optimize end-to-end platform journeys and create impactful customer experiences and growth. 

As an Engineering Manager on our Platform Experience team, you'll lead an experienced group of engineers focused on building and improving the user experience for our Supermetrics platform. You'll be responsible for ensuring the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet the needs of our users and the business.

 

In this role, you will… 

  • Empower Users: Lead the team to create engaging, data-driven tools and insights that empower our users to make better decisions.

  • Pioneer Innovation: Champion the development of innovative, advanced features by leveraging the latest technologies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by streamlining workflows, enhancing team synergy, and promoting best practices.

  • Be a Trusted Technical Authority: Provide experienced guidance on data architecture and data engineering to elevate team performance and ensure scalability.

  • Mentor & Empower: Guide your team through technical challenges, code reviews, and architectural decisions, creating a culture of growth and learning.

  • Prepare & Execute: Initiate technical discovery and planning sessions to set up effective project execution.

  • Participate in development: shape key technical decisions and lead by example.

  • Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with product managers, product designers, and stakeholders to prioritize, solve problems, and allocate resources effectively.

  • Optimize for Greatness: Continuously improve engineering processes to boost efficiency and quality, ensuring a high standard of work.

  • Connect the Dots: Facilitate cross-team collaboration and ensure seamless execution of projects.

  • Coach for Success: Hold 1-on-1s with team members, provide ongoing coaching, and support their professional development.

This position is for you if you have…

  • Deep knowledge of data architecture and engineering principles.

  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.

  • Extensive experience leading and managing engineering teams, developing a collaborative and productive environment.

  • Keen attention to detail, effective delegation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective English communication skills and experience working in international environments
