Job Opportunity: Assistant Coffee Roaster & Production Assistant 

Join ØNSK’s organic coffee roastery in Copenhagen 

About the Role 

We’re looking for a hard-working and energetic team player to join our production team and help transform organic green beans into freshly roasted coffee, packed and ready to ship. The role is physically demanding, hands-on, and central to our daily operations. You’ll be part of executing the weekly roast plan on our magnificent 70-kg Loring roaster, managing inventory, preparing materials, machine maintenance and making sure our production runs smoothly and efficiently. 

This is a hands-on role in the heart of our roastery, and ideal for someone who thrives on structure, takes pride in doing things right, and loves staying active throughout the day. 

Your Main Tasks Will Include 

• Carrying out the weekly roast plan with the production team 

• Bagging roasted coffee and preparing customer orders 

• Managing stock and updating inventory 

• Prepping labels, bags, and buckets for production 

• Cleaning and maintaining roastery equipment and facilities

• Is structured, reliable, and loves a good system 

• Works efficiently and can help streamline workflows 

• Has tons of energy and enjoys physical, hands-on work 

• Can stay focused and productive through repetitive tasks 

• Takes initiative and likes contributing to a shared goal 

  
  

Bonus If You 

• Have worked in production, warehousing, or food handling 

• Know your way around spreadsheets or inventory tools 

• Have an interest in specialty coffee (no experience needed — we’ll teach you) 

• Are motivated by creating impact and supporting sustainability
