At Abtion, we:

We work end-to-end: backend and frontend but also from defining the functionality to getting it accepted at our daily meetings with the client.

🧑‍💻 About you

• You have experience developing web-based applications in Umbraco.

• You have experience with a JavaScript framework such as React, React Native, Vue, or NextJs

• You have experience with an MVC framework in any language such as .NET.

• You have experience and are not afraid of programming in other languages.

• You care about reliable software and write automatic tests for your applications.

• You enjoy finding the right solution with your team. You understand when to make compromises and what brings value to the product.

• You are comfortable in the terminal and Git.

We believe in Collective Ownership where the whole team is responsible for the whole product. Either it’s a good product or it is not. We changed our collaboration and communication style from “it works on my machine” to “the final product is coherent and valuable to its users” by taking shared ownership of the product.

• We pair-program often.

• We proudly focus on automatic testing and strive to make reliable software.

• We have systems in Node, React, React Native, .Net (C#), Umbraco, and Wordpress (PHP). Of course, the more technologies you know, the better.

• We host our apps on Heroku, Scalingo, and Azure.

• We use Github and Github Actions for the CI.

• We have a healthy mix of older systems that we have to improve, as well as greenfield projects.

• We work under different constraints on each project. The setup is not always ideal. We always strive to make the best out of every situation.
