Commercial Operations Partner

Salary Competitive

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

More than one third of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet. 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste and loss.

Through our marketplace app, we connect businesses that have unsold, surplus food, with consumers who can buy and enjoy it at ⅓ of retail value. We are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste. Alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 122 million registered users and 249,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already saved more than 463 million meals from going to waste - avoiding more than 1.25 million tonnes of CO2e from entering the atmosphere.

In 2023, Too Good To Go was recognised on Fortune's acclaimed 'Change the World' list, named as one of Deloitte's 'Best Managed Companies' and won a coveted 'Cultural Impact Award' at the annual Apple App Store Awards.

Your mission

As a Commercial Operations Partner within the Commercial Operations team, you’ll work closely with the Poland & Czechia markets, partnering with the County Director and local leadership team to support the improvement of commercial performance, by applying both strategic thinking and day to day execution. You’ll enable local front line (sales and retention) teams to be more effective and efficient, coordinating the rollout of local and global initiatives that drive measurable impact. You’ll be expected to take initiative, proactively spotting and coordinating improvement opportunities that drive measurable commercial impact.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Operations Partner for Cluster Centre, you’ll also regularly collaborate with your Commercial Operations’ colleagues, the wider global Commercial function, and the cross country Data Analytics and Business Operations teams.

Responsibilities

Your role will be split as follows:

Local Market Support - Circa 80%

  • Driving Local Marketplace Supply Initiatives
    • Provide root cause analysis and recommendations to front line sales and growth teams to improve KPIs, (e.g. new supplying stores, supply per store, store cancellation rates),  coordinate execution of improvements, and continuously monitor their impact.
  • Unlocking Growth Opportunities:
    • Proactively identify and present opportunities to improve sales performance by partnering closely with country leadership
    • Deliver actionable sales and retention insights and strategic recommendations to inform data driven decision making (e.g. budget & forecasting support)
    • Support hyperlocal ways of working, alongside the Business Operations Team, performing deep dive analysis on hyperlocal metrics and interventions, as well as coordinating the execution of improvement initiatives with local leadership teams
  • Tool & Process Optimisation
    • Identify and implement efficiency gains through streamlining sales & growth processes (e.g. Prospect re-engagement process and sales to growth team handovers) and increasing front line self-serve capabilities by developing local interim solutions and best practices until global scalable solutions are implemented.
  • Front Line Support Enablement
    • Support Commercial Operations Executives in handling frontline support tickets (e.g., data analysis, data audits, global tool administration) and coach local teams to maximise adoption of sales tools and processes.

Global Support - Circa 20%

  • Global Commercial Projects
    • Collaborate with the wider Global Commercial function to contribute to and co-develop globally led initiatives (e.g. new bonus and forecasting models, lead generation automation, new CRM rollout) and support the deployment and training efforts across your local markets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales/revenue operations or a similar role, ideally in a fast paced, high growth tech company
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset — able to independently identify opportunities, take ownership, and leverage project management skills to drive initiatives from idea to execution
  • Ability to seamlessly shift between operational execution and strategic thinking, adapting focus based on business needs
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and shape commercial decisions at country leadership level (Country Directors, Head Ofs)
  • Proven track record of optimising sales and growth processes, by identifying inefficiencies and implementing effective improvements.
  • Analytical and curious problem solver, turning data into actionable insights
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and BI Tools (e.g. Looker), leveraging them to drive effectiveness
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g. Pivot Tables, Vlookup/Index-Match, Sumifs)
  • Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development, with a drive to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
