DANSIC is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation aimed at fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship. We bring together students, social entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to develop solutions for social and environmental challenges. Our mission is to inspire the development of sustainable social enterprises and engage with leaders across all sectors.

We’re looking for a new Board Member to join us in making a difference. Every year, the board of DANSIC comes together to decide on an exciting project for the year ahead. As part of the board, you’ll play an active role in shaping the direction of this project and supporting the activities that bring it to life. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your ideas, skills, and energy to create real impact in collaboration with a dedicated team.
The work of the board is diverse, and so are we. Therefore, we encourage people from different backgrounds to apply. No matter where you come from, whether you are a student or a recent graduate, whether you are a social scientist or a technical nerd – if you have the motivation, don’t hesitate to apply!
Take part in brainstorming, planning, and decision-making about the theme and direction of our yearly project
Help organise and oversee events, workshops, or activities connected to the project
Contribute to building relationships with partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders
Helping our volunteers with their team objectives
Participating in board meetings
Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
Communication and team-leading skills
Eager to learn new things
A genuine interest in social innovation and sustainability
Ability to commit approximately 2-3 hours per week to DANSIC activities (fluctuating workload depending on the season)
Real hands-on experience in running an established organisation
