About the Role

We are seeking an Applications & Grants Manager to help us secure external funding and partnerships that will fuel our programs, events, and long-term initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys researching funding opportunities, crafting compelling applications, and making a tangible impact on a mission-driven organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research relevant grants, funding schemes, sponsorships, and partnership opportunities (local, national, and EU-level).

  • Prepare, write, and submit high-quality grant applications and funding proposals that align with PWN Copenhagen’s mission and strategy.

  • Build and maintain a database of available funding sources and deadlines.

  • Collaborate closely with the Board (especially Partnerships, Finance, and Strategy) to align funding applications with organizational priorities.

  • Monitor grant reporting requirements and ensure compliance with deadlines and deliverables.

  • Support relationship building with key stakeholders, sponsors, and foundations.


What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or sponsorship development.

  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take initiative.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Interest in gender equality, leadership development, and community empowerment.

  • Fluency in English (Danish is an asset).
