We’re now looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Copenhagen office and take ownership of the accounting and administration of our clients’ companies. This is a role for someone who is proactive by nature, enjoys responsibility, and wants to be close to both clients and decisions in a fast-growing FinTech.

If you like taking initiative, spotting improvements before they’re asked for, and owning your area end-to-end, this role is for you.

What you’ll do

As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll be at the center of how our clients’ management companies run on a day-to-day basis. You’ll combine hands-on accounting with proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement:

• Take full ownership of the accounting for a portfolio of management companies from day one

• Keep the books clean, accurate, and up to date in E-conomic, ensuring smooth month-end and year-end closes

• Run invoicing, accruals, cost allocations, and expense tracking

• Support VAT handling and local compliance requirements

• Be a go-to accounting contact for clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders

• Help standardize, document, and elevate how accounting services is delivered across Embankment

• Contribute to smarter system use, and process improvements as we continue to scale

• Work closely with colleagues across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Luxembourg to deliver consistently best-in-class service across geographies
