At Monotree, we are building all-in-one employee apps that serve the hospitality, hotel, and entertainment industries. We are an ambitious, profitable organization operating as a lean and effective machine. 


We are the market leaders in Scandinavia and are now looking for a sales-driven Country Manager to spearhead our expansion into the UK. This is not an administrative role; it is a role for a builder and a hunter. You will be the face of Monotree in the UK, responsible for establishing our market presence and driving revenue. We are seeing great early traction in the UK and our product is far faster, better built and more intuitive than any of the competitors, so the hunting grounds are fertile. 


The Role


As our UK Country Manager, you will take ownership of the UK market's commercial success. Your primary focus will be sales, networking, and brand building. You will work in close proximity to the CEO, the Head of Growth & Relations, and the wider sales and GTM team to create long term success. 


You must live in the UK to apply for this role, being on the ground is important. You will identify key players in the UK hospitality and hotel sectors, open doors, and close deals.


What You’ll Do


  • Drive Sales & Revenue: Execute the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing—targeting hotels, hospitality groups, and entertainment venues.

  • Build Market Presence: Actively network within the UK industry, representing Monotree at events, conferences, and meetings to build brand awareness.

  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with the CEO, sales and GTM to adapt our value proposition to the specific needs of the UK market.

  • Feedback Loop: Act as the bridge between the UK market and our HQ in Copenhagen, providing insights that help shape product development and marketing strategies.

  • Manage Relationships: Nurture relationships with key decision-makers to ensure long-term retention and expansion within accounts.


What We’re Looking For


  • Proven Sales Experience: You have a strong track record in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, Hospitality. 

  • A Strong Network: You understand the UK market dynamics and preferably have an existing network within hospitality or hotels.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are self-motivated and thrive in a high-autonomy environment. You don't wait for leads; you create them.

  • Collaborative Spirit: Even though you are focusing on the UK, you are part of a tight-knit team. You communicate effectively with leadership and colleagues.

  • Strategic Thinker: You can look beyond the immediate sale to understand how to build a sustainable market share.
