Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a product designer to help define the future of accounting at Sanna. You’ll design core product experiences end-to-end, working closely with engineering, product, and accounting experts. This is a foundational role where taste, judgment, and systems thinking matter – and where design directly shapes trust, clarity, and scale in a high-stakes domain.

Sanna is building a new kind of accounting firm – designed from the ground up for a world where AI handles most of the manual work that has defined the industry for decades. We combine AI-driven workflows, modern technology, and deep professional expertise to deliver the peace of mind of a traditional accounting firm, while radically changing how the work is done behind the scenes.

We’re building Sanna with international scale in mind from day one. Starting with holding companies and expanding into operating companies, we’re creating a category-defining product in a domain where correctness, trust, and clarity are non-negotiable.

Design is not a service function here; it’s a core part of how decisions are made and how quality is upheld across product and company.

What we’re looking for

We value judgment, taste, and learning ability over years of experience or specific tools.

• Experience designing digital products, ideally in complex, regulated, or data-heavy domains

• Strong product thinking with excellent visual and interaction design skills

• Proven ability to simplify complex workflows into calm, intuitive experiences

• Comfort working end-to-end – from problem framing to high-fidelity execution

• Experience collaborating closely with engineers and understanding technical constraints

• Curiosity for how AI can enable better, more invisible user experiences

• Motivation to help build a product and design culture from an early stage

What you’ll do

In one sentence: Design the core experience of Sanna, making accounting feel effortless, trustworthy, and human.

• Design end-to-end product experiences, from early concepts to shipped features

• Turn complex accounting workflows and regulatory requirements into clear, intuitive interfaces

• Own design projects from conception to delivery, collaborating closely with engineering – and ideally implementing yourself with AI (we’ll train you)

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and accountants to deeply understand user needs

• Be scrappy and hands-on with any design assets needed

• Contribute to and evolve Sanna’s design language and quality standards

• Establish scalable design processes that uphold quality and consistency

• Champion quick wins and impactful improvements across the product

• Help set the bar for design quality and shape the culture for how design works at Sanna

4. Collaborative session: Work through a problem with members of our product & engineering teams to see how we collaborate.

5. Final conversation: A final chat to answer any remaining questions and ensure we're aligned for the future.
