SimplerQMS is on a mission to empower life science teams to bring life-saving products to market. Our integrated quality management platform supports innovative biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies by streamlining compliance, managing documents, and automating quality processes.
As a fast-growing, remote-first company, we hire for talent and mission alignment, not location. We are expanding our product organization into two cross-functional product teams. Each team will include a product manager, tech lead, and designer working closely together to shape and deliver meaningful improvements to our platform.
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who is strong in navigating between problem and solution space and who can strengthen our discovery and UX capabilities across teams.
As a Senior UX Designer at SimplerQMS, you will work as part of a dedicated product trio and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. You will help teams move fluidly from understanding problems to exploring solutions and back again through iterative discovery, testing, and refinement.
You will complement our existing design capabilities by bringing strong UX thinking, conceptual skills, and structured exploration of complex product challenges. Your work will ensure that product decisions are grounded in user insight, aligned with business goals, and translated into clear solution directions.
At SimplerQMS, collaboration is key. You’ll work as part of a cohesive product team, sharing ownership of solutions and ensuring each feature meets user and business needs effectively. Together, we are responsible for moving the product forward, ensuring every feature benefits from the team's collective expertise.
Your areas of responsibility will include:
Lead discovery work to understand user needs, workflows, and problem spaces
Translate insights into clear problem definitions, journeys, and opportunity areas
Explore and validate solution directions through sketches, prototypes, and testing
Help teams move iteratively between problem and solution space
Facilitate alignment and structured exploration with product and engineering
Collaborate to ensure consistency and quality in our UI and design system.
As a bonus, you may lead discussions on strategic initiatives and collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to explore problem spaces, driving deeper insights and planning.
We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer with 3+ years of experience, ideally from a B2B SaaS background, who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and interfaces. You should possess most of the following skills and qualifications:
4+ years of experience in UX and product design
A goal- and data-driven mindset, focusing on validating hypotheses through research and tests rather than assumptions.
Strong skills in discovery, research, and problem framing.
A structured, pragmatic, and hypothesis-driven approach to design and decision making
Ability to turn complex problems into clear concepts and validated solutions
Confidence communicating and facilitating across disciplines
Familiarity with modern iterative product development principles
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) for prototyping and user testing.
Experience from B2B SaaS or other complex digital products is an advantage
A playground for you to grow, learn, and develop as a designer. You can develop yourself in the direction you prefer. In a growing team, there will be a demand for both a high degree of specialization as well as a broader perspective of a generalist. SimplerQMS advocates an experimental and innovative mindset.
You'll find a flat-structured hierarchy and a tailored career path suiting your ambitions.
As you submit your resume, be sure to also include a motivational cover letter in the PDF you upload. In the cover letter, let us know why you'd like to work for SimplerQMS and what you bring to the table as a UX designer. If you can also include a brief note on your most impactful design work, then that's a plus.
Overt use of AI to write motivational cover letter and tailor resume is a drawback. We favor real effort.
The hiring process will be a short intro call with the hiring manager, a case study, a conversation with the Product Team management group about your experience, your case, and the role. If you are among the final two candidates, we will ask you to undergo a personality assessment.
We are reviewing applications and inviting candidates to interviews on an ongoing basis. If this role excites you, apply now. We’d love to hear from you.
We will conduct interviews continuously as applications come in. We aim to have you start April 1st or May 1st.
We do not offer relocation. The position is either remote (you do not live in Copenhagen, Denmark) or on-site in Copenhagen, Denmark (you live in or are moving to Copenhagen).
