We’re looking for two Shift Managers to join Oda!

This is an operational leadership role and involves having personnel responsibility for up to 30 drivers, including Team Leads and part-time drivers. A typical day includes having overall responsibility for the entire shift operation and planning for the following day. In addition to overseeing fleet maintenance and supplier relations, you will coordinate driving routes. Depending on the shift's staffing levels, this includes personally handling the routes up to three times a week.

What you’ll be doing as Shift Manager

Leadership & HR

  • Personal Responsibility: Direct oversight of up to 30 employees, including recruitment, training, and performance reviews.

  • Resource Planning: Rolling out shifts in accordance with the Working Environment Act and attesting hours in the payroll system.

  • HSE: Monitor and report on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) metrics, quality standards, and shift efficiency.

  • Sick leave follow-up: Actively follow up on sick leave and support employees through their recovery process.

Operations & Fleet Management

  • Operational focus: Hold overall responsibility for site operations during your shift and drive short routes up to three times weekly, more if needed.

  • Fleet Maintenance: Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet suppliers (e.g., Ford, Sulland, Thermoking) to ensure vehicle uptime.

  • Deviation Handling: Manage all shift-related incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions within set deadlines.

  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with the Driver Academy and Delivery Manager to refine routines and standards.

What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for a hands-on Operational Leader who thrives in hectic environments and takes pride in full-shift ownership. If you are a structured problem-solver who enjoys the responsibility of balancing logistics with people management - this role could fit you well!

Beyond operational expertise, it’s a great plus to have an understanding of Norwegian labor laws (including the Working Environment Act and sick leave regulations), ensuring our team is supported and compliant.

In addition, you need to have a Manual Drivers License - Class B (minimum 2 years) and be fluent in English, both written and oral.

Practical Information

  • Working hours: Morning shift (06:00 - 14:00) & Evening Shift (13:30 - 21:30)

  • Working days: Monday to Friday, with flexibility to support the weekend shift if needed
