FlavorScale is seeking a Founder’s Associate Intern who is data-driven, commercially minded, and ready to help build the business case for the next generation of food discovery. Following a successful pilot in Copenhagen, we are now preparing for a major 2026 Q3 funding round. We need a strategic partner to help refine our investment narrative, manage our financial health, and streamline our path to scale.
FlavorScale is the digital home for Gen Z food discovery—moving away from generic trends toward personalized, data-backed recommendations.
You will work directly with the CEO as a strategic co-pilot, focusing on the commercial and operational side of the startup.
Fundraising & Investor Relations: Assist in the "re-creation" of our investment pitch. You will manage the Investor Data Room, research Venture Capital/Angel prospects, and maintain our outreach pipeline.
Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain pro-forma financial statements, track our burn rate and runway, and create growth forecasts that reflect our expansion plans.
Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dives into market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM), competitor benchmarking, and industry trends to validate our business model.
KPI Management: Define and monitor core business metrics (CAC, LTV, User Retention) to provide the cold, hard numbers that investors demand.
Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Economics, or an MBA.
Analytical Rigor: You are an expert in Excel/Google Sheets. You don’t just build tables; you build models that tell a story.
Strategic Thinker: You can translate a creative vision into a structured business plan.
High Agency: You thrive in an unstructured environment. You spot operational gaps and fix them before being asked.
Communication: You can draft professional investor updates and persuasive executive summaries.
Flexible Remote: Based anywhere in Northwestern Europe, provided your university allows for a Netherlands-based internship.
Language: Fluent in English.
Timeline: Joining for 2026 Q2 or Q3.
If you want to see exactly how a startup is funded and scaled from the inside, this is your seat at the table. Send your CV/LinkedIn and your current favorite food.
Interested in FlavorScale but have a different background? We are also open to hearing from ambitious students in UX Research, Growth Marketing, and Community Management. If you’re passionate about the project, reach out and tell us how you’d contribute.
