FlavorScale is seeking an Urban Growth & Brand Partnership Intern to lead our high-velocity market takeover in Amsterdam. This role is for the hustler who wants to see how a startup scales from 0 to 1,000+ partners in a single summer. You aren't just visiting cafes; you are executing a commercial expansion strategy to prove FlavorScale is the new standard for urban discovery.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will work directly with the CEO to bridge the gap between our digital platform and the physical streets of Amsterdam.
Who You Are
The Growth Hacker: You don't just see a city; you see a map of commercial opportunities. You’re driven by targets, numbers, and the thrill of the "yes."
The Social Butterfly: You are a natural connector. You don't just "network"—you build genuine relationships and can open doors that others find closed.
High Agency: You don't wait for a task list. You see a busy terrace and think, "They should be on FlavorScale," and you make it happen.
Content Intuition: You have an eye for what looks good on a screen. You can spot a "trending vibe" from a mile away and know exactly which places will drive Gen Z user engagement.
Background: Ideally studying Business (Development), Marketing, or Communications.
Your Daily Mission
Market Mapping: Segment Amsterdam into "Hot Zones" (De Pijp, Jordaan, Noord) and prioritize high-traffic venues that drive the city's food culture.
Direct Field Onboarding: Spend your days in the city with the CEO, pitching the FlavorScale vision to business owners and physically onboarding them onto the platform.
The Influencer Bridge: Identify local food creators and "City Creators," reaching out to them to facilitate early adoption and create a community ripple effect.
Account Management: Act as the first point of contact for our partners, ensuring they understand how we capture the "Full-Flow" data they’ve been leaving on the table.
Strategic Input: Participate in weekly syncs to report on merchant pain points and ROI, helping us refine our B2B value proposition before the 2026 Q3 funding round.
The Opportunity
This is an unpaid internship that offers a "Masterclass" in startup scaling and business development. While we cannot promise specific timelines or positions—as our key hires depend on 2026/2027 investment cycles and board decisions—this role is designed to be a talent pipeline. Successful interns who prove their value on the streets of Amsterdam will be top-of-mind for strategic roles as the company levels up.
Specific Skillset Requirements
Local Residency: You must live in or very close to Amsterdam.
Language: Fluent in English (essential for speaking with local business owners). Dutch or another European language is a Plus.
Communication: Exceptional verbal skills. You need to be as comfortable talking to a Michelin-star chef as you are to a Gen Z TikToker.
Resilience: Sales and partnerships require a "thick skin." You view a "No" as just a "Not yet."
