FlavorScale is seeking a Product Management Intern to help define the future of how people experience their cities. Product Management at a startup isn't about moving tickets in Jira; it’s about deep empathy for the user, ruthless prioritization, and turning "chaos" into a roadmap. You will be the glue between our Developers, our BDRs, and the Founder.
Most internships put you in charge of a single button—we’re giving you a seat in the cockpit. You will work directly with the CEO to prioritize features that drive retention and scale our partner network as we head toward the 2026 Q3 funding round.
Background: Currently studying Business, Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a related field (Bachelor or Master level).
The Systems Thinker: You see the "Big Picture." You understand how a change in the BDR onboarding flow affects the Data Science team’s models and the final User Experience.
The Translator: You can speak "Dev" to the engineers, "ROI" to the CEO, and "Vibe" to the marketing team. You translate abstract ideas into actionable specs.
Data-Informed (Not just Data-Driven): You love a good dashboard, but you also know when to go out into the streets of Amsterdam to talk to users and get the qualitative "Why" behind the numbers.
Vibe: You are highly organized, persuasive, and proactive. You’re the person who naturally takes the lead in a group project to ensure everyone is moving in the same direction.
Feature Scoping: Work with the CEO to define the "MVP" for new features, writing the PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) that our developers actually enjoy reading.
User Research: Conduct "Street Interviews" and usability tests with our early adopters in Amsterdam to identify friction points.
The Roadmap: Assist in managing the product backlog, helping us decide what we build today, what we build tomorrow, and what we say "no" to.
Competitive Intelligence: Keep a pulse on the F&B tech landscape. Who’s innovating? Who’s lagging? How does FlavorScale stay two steps ahead?
Sprint Orchestration: Join technical syncs to ensure the Engineering team has the clarity they need to ship high-impact code every single week.
This is a work-based internship that offers a Masterclass in Startup Strategy. While we cannot promise permanent positions—as our key hires depend on 2026/2027 investment cycles—this is our Strategic Talent Pipeline. Successful interns who show they can "own" a product vertical will be the first candidates for PM and Operations Lead roles as we expand across Europe.
Location: Based within the Netherlands (Remote-first with frequent field-work in Amsterdam).
Language: Fluent in English (Essential). Dutch is a massive plus for local user research.
Status: This must be a formal internship as part of your degree.
Tools: Familiarity with Figma (for viewing designs), Notion/Slack, and any analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, etc.) is a plus.
Maturity: You can handle the responsibility of making decisions that affect the entire team's workflow.
