Your mission

Too Good To Go's UX Research team exists to make sure the products we build are grounded in real user understanding. We are a small team working across a fast-moving product organisation and research operations - the infrastructure that makes insight possible - is central to how we work.

A key focus right now is our continuous interviewing programme - a live, always-on system that generates weekly qualitative insights from users across multiple markets. This student worker role sits at the operational heart of that programme. You will keep the weekly cycle moving smoothly - managing scheduling, tracking participants, processing data and coordinating across tools. And alongside that, you will actively identify what is slow, what is fragile and what could be automated and help us fix it.

This hands-on role rewards people who are organised, curious about systems and always looking for smarter ways to work. This is also a role for someone who wants to grow. You will be working closely with the Head of UX Research, getting exposure to how research is planned, run and used to shape product decisions - and building a foundation for a career in UXR.

The role has three layers: doing the work reliably, questioning whether it could be done better, and building toward a career in research. We are looking for someone who is ready for all three.

This role reports to the Head of UX Research.

Responsibilities 

• Running the weekly operations cycle for active research programmes - pulling response data across platforms, updating tracking sheets and posting team updates
• Managing participant communications - sending follow-up emails and incentive payments accurately and on time
• Processing transcripts for AI analysis - downloading, deduplicating and preparing sessions for synthesis
• Supporting technical setup for new programmes - including screener forms, study configuration, participant recruitment requests and legal documentation
• Coordinating translations with local market contacts for non-English programmes and reviewing returned translations for accuracy
• Identifying manual steps in the current process that could be automated or improved and proposing smarter solutions
• Maintaining and improving process documentation so the programme is resilient and not dependent on any one person

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a master's programme in a relevant field - psychology, cognitive science, HCI, information science, social science, design or similar
• You are looking to build a career in user research or research operations
• You have strong attention to detail and catch inconsistencies before they become problems
• You are comfortable working across multiple digital tools and pick up new ones quickly
• You are resourceful with technology and find practical ways to work more efficiently
• You follow structured processes carefully and flag when something looks wrong
• You treat a process as something that can always be improved, not just followed
• You notice when a step feels unnecessarily manual and are motivated to do something about it
• You take ownership - if you spot something off, you say so
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and can make reasonable decisions without being told every step
