Each year, everyday consumers lose over €100B in expiring loyalty points. Programs are designed to reward the 5% of members with the highest balances, those who can afford free flights and hotel stays. The remaining 95%, ordinary consumers who travel a few times a year and earn a few thousand points, have no meaningful rewards available to them.
Our anyplay platform opens redemption for the excluded 95%, letting members redeem premium digital entertainment gift cards (Apple App Store, Google Play, PlayStation, Spotify, Steam) starting from €5. Phase 2 expands this into a co-branded virtual debit card, positioned as the most rewarding entertainment card in the world: a payment product purpose-built for digital natives, where every transaction earns rewards spendable on the lifestyle they actually live.
The commercial foundations are in place:
Direct relationships with loyalty programs ranging from 20M to 250M members
Active partnership discussions in Finland and internationally, expected to close in the coming months
Integration with loyalty point infrastructure connecting 230+ programs globally, in progress
Identified issuer-processor partner for phase 2
First funding round expected late Q2 / early Q3 2026
The team has over a decade of presence in international loyalty, with three international awards including Red Herring Most Innovative Companies and The Loyalty Awards Best Loyalty Partnership. Our previous award-winning platform in this space achieved a 24.2% visitor-to-redemption conversion rate.
What's missing is the technical co-founder.
You'll join as Co-Founder and CTO, owning the technical direction from day one.
Phase 1 (now to launch): Architect and build the redemption platform. Loyalty point integrations, gift card distribution, conversion engine, web app client.
Phase 2 (post-funding): Lead the build of the co-branded virtual debit card product. Issuer-processor integration, issuing bank relationships, Visa/Mastercard certification, wallet infrastructure.
Beyond that: Build and lead the engineering team, define the technical culture, and own the long-term architecture.
Tech stack is your call.
A senior engineer who has shipped real consumer payment products end to end, ideally including card programs (Marqeta, Galileo, or equivalent issuer-processor experience is a significant plus)
Comfortable architecting and building, not just managing
Strong product sensibility, you care how the thing feels to use, not only how it scales
Ready to own technical direction and hire the team that builds with you
Located in Europe or a European time zone
Not the right fit: fractional or side-project candidates, anyone planning to outsource the entire build, or first-time engineering leaders without payments domain experience.
25% founding equity, four-year vesting with one-year cliff.
We've spent the last three years building the commercial foundations: partnerships, regulatory strategy, product definition, and the loyalty-industry relationships that make this credible. The CTO joins to build the technical foundation. The 25% reflects that split honestly: meaningful ownership and a true co-founder seat, paired with a company that already has its commercial side de-risked.
Compensation reality: Pure equity until the first funding round closes, expected late Q2 / early Q3 2026. After that, market-rate founding-CTO compensation.
Location: Remote within European time zones. Periodic in-person meetings as the team and rounds dictate.
