At GoWish, we’re building the world’s leading wish-list and social shopping platform — a place where you can make a real impact and have fun doing it.
We’re on a mission to reinvent gifting for millions. We win together, driven by curiosity, ownership, and bold ideas that turn into real products. We experiment cross-functionally, push for excellence, and keep things playful as we grow — together.
The Monetization team sits at the heart of GoWish's business model. We build, own, and evolve the systems that translate user intent and product interaction into measurable, trustworthy value for our B2B partners. This includes advertiser-facing products, affiliate tracking and attribution systems, and data platforms that power insights, optimization, and decision-making.
Our work directly impacts:
revenue generation
partner trust
strategic business decisions
This team works closely with the commercial side of the business with a strong engineering mindset, actively experimenting with new monetization models, data products, and insights to unlock additional growth.
As a Full-stack Engineer (Frontend-leaning) in the Monetization team, you'll work end-to-end on the Advertiser Universe: the B2B platforms our advertiser partners use to manage their presence on GoWish. The role leans frontend, and that's where most of your day will go, but you'll also contribute meaningfully to the backend and help us oversee the affiliate tracking and attribution stack end-to-end alongside the Monetization Backend Engineers. Concretely, you'll work across multiple product surfaces, some of which are:
The Advertiser Panel: our main B2B portal where advertisers edit their brand pages, create content, and monitor their performance
The Affiliate Tracking Dashboard: where partners track clicks, attribution and conversions tied to their campaigns
The GoWish Web and App platforms: where you'll contribute to the existing user-facing surfaces to ensure partner content is shown adequately to our users
In this role you will:
Own the development of GoWish's B2B-facing frontend applications (the Advertiser Panel, the Affiliate Tracking Dashboard, and the surrounding partner surfaces) and everything that comes with it: from design collaboration through technical implementation to production delivery, performance, accessibility, and reliability.
Be the driver of tracking across our app and web platforms. This covers both user behavior instrumentation (Amplitude, GTM, GA4) and the frontend side of our affiliate tracking. You'll design and roll out tracking implementations, help other product teams understand the why and the how, and set the best-practice bar so the data feeding our monetization, product, and growth decisions is clean and trustworthy.
Translate complex monetization, attribution, and performance data into clear, trustworthy partner experiences.
Contribute across the stack when needed: wiring up APIs, shaping data contracts with backend engineers, and stepping closer to the server side when the work calls for it.
Make sound technical decisions that balance short-term delivery with long-term maintainability, and take responsibility for code quality, performance, and accessibility.
Review pull requests critically, provide constructive feedback, and communicate proactively about progress, risks, and trade-offs.
Identify product and technical gaps in the Advertiser Universe and act on them.
3–5 years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 2 years on front-end development (both app and web)
App development experience with React Native
Web development experience, primarily in TypeScript
Experience with user behavior tracking technologies and implementation (e.g. Amplitude, GTM, GA4)
Experience building and maintaining APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
Experience building complex, data-dense web applications, ideally B2B platforms, dashboards, or admin tools
Comfort working across the stack when the task calls for it. You're not afraid of API integration, backend touchpoints, or shaping the data you consume
An ownership mindset and a can-do attitude
Commercial awareness: you care about the partners and the business outcomes behind the screens you build, not just the code
Comfort operating in a scale-up environment where ambiguity is normal and process is light
It is further seen as an advantage to have:
Experience with affiliate tracking, attribution, or click-stream systems
Familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem
Exposure to working with insight-driven data products
