The eCommerce platform and delivery system will be two independent platforms. eCommerce platform is done and operational, but not implimented. We are aware that for anyone to get there, to hold on, what matters is only partly the object itself. The defining factor is the attitude of the owner (ownership). But we get somewhere by proposing objects that demand attention for more than a minute. Not by glazing it white, nor pastel or by bending it to match your curves. Instead we wish for you to call us out as loud and opinionated. We are high maintenance. Classic forever. By testing we mean doing experiments on established notions of the designed. And to challenge the conditions of use that follows. Good objects are such that give power to an attitude that treats sustainability, not as science but as emotion. (2) FLEXIBLE Our body is flexible like the smell of patchouli. Meaning that our structure is non-static and open ended. Our identity is a moving thing that allows us to be spontaneous and reactive to sudden impulse or intriguing demands. Impulsivity applies to our process of making. Short production lead-time and fast thinking while aiming for an unhurried object feel and life. Soft legacy. (3) COLLABORATIONS Involving fine talent and expertise naturally help us exercise flexibility and sport us with longer, sleeker limbs to show off. The workshop acts as an international bank of professional, critical and creative exchange. This gives rise to perspectives and intentions or problems as well as solutions that we couldn’t have come up with alone. Also- we do it for the fun of it. This is giving all the way around. Scanosk is positioned for the Post-Corona world where in-person attendance to conferences is expected to see a sharp increase in 2022-23. Sealytix develops CAPSIM, an advanced stowage algorithm that liner shipping companies can use to maximize the profit of their fleet. Liner shippers are challenged by extremely complex stowage rules of container vessels. This means that sales teams are unable to fill all slots and sell container bookings that fit the vessel. The problem is known, but has defied automation until today. CAPSIM is the fourth generation of a series stowage algorithms developed in collaboration with Danish Universities since 2007. It includes a patented AI technology for predicting lashing forces and forecasting cargo. It is the first stowage algorithm in the world that is able to select spot and contract cargo to stow on a vessel that maximizes total cargo yield. A PoC with a large Danish liner shipper showed that CAPSIM enables vessels to increase their profit with 5-8%. This is a breakthrough result in a market that normally has profit margins of a few percent. The potential extra profit of the world fleet is more than $10B per year. Sealytix has a SaaS software product line consisting of SLX | YIELD, SLX | FLOW, and SLX | STOW supporting sales, capacity management, and stowage operation, respectively.
