EnergyMate

EnergyMate is a digital platform (app) that supports cancer survivors with cognitive late-effects get their energy and life back through evidence based neurorehabilitation methods and a supportive community. 400.000 people in Denmark alone lives with or after cancer - and >50% of survivors struggle with cognitive late effects and many lose their job or have to work on reduced time and never retur to a normal life after cancer. We want to change that.

Heibjerg ApS

Heibjerg is a Danish robotics startup developing autonomous, chemical-free robots for pavement and outdoor area maintenance. Our core product is an autonomous weeding robot that operates in complex environments such as cemeteries, housing associations, and parks. The robot combines advanced navigation, sensor fusion, and AI-based vision to reduce manual labour and environmental impact.

Tid

Tid is a watch startup challenging the assumption that products should be designed for a single, default body and identity. Most watches are built around narrow aesthetic and ergonomic norms, leaving many people adapting themselves to the object rather than the other way around. We design unconventional, modular timepieces that prioritize fit, expression, and personal meaning over tradition. The problem we solve is not accuracy of timekeeping, but relevance: creating objects that reflect diverse bodies, lives, and ways of being in the world.

Planomic

We are helping heads of strategy & strategy consultants at large, international enterprises to close the gap between strategy & execution by giving them the tool they need to operationalize the company strategy into the weekly work, across business units and regions. We are the easiest-to-use software that teams want to use. Our competitors have bloated software that tries to do too many things, and by that overcomplicating the simple UI companies really need when implementing their strategy.

Kihleo

Kihleo is a medtech startup developing an early warning system for urinary tract infections in older people with incontinence receiving care at home or in nursing homes. UTIs are one of the most common reasons for acute deterioration, confusion, and hospitalisation in this group. They are challenging to detect early, because symptoms are often vague, many older people cannot clearly communicate discomfort, and home care staff and nurses have minimal time. Today, detection is primarily reactive. Staff notice that something is wrong, then order urine tests and start treatment when the infection is already well underway. This leads to unnecessary suffering, avoidable admissions, and a high use of antibiotics. Kihleo’s solution is a small sensor placed in the diaper that measures biomarkers in the urine every time the person voids. When the diaper is changed, the sensor is read, and data is sent to a secure backend. Algorithms and predictive models analyse patterns over time and provide early, trustworthy indications that an infection may be developing, days before clinical symptoms are usually recognised. The system is not a diagnostic tool. It is a decision-support and early-warning system that integrates into existing workflows and helps staff decide when to look more closely, consult a nurse or doctor, and perform standard diagnostic tests. The value is threefold. For older people, it means faster and more targeted treatment, fewer severe infections, less confusion, and a better day-to-day quality of life. For relatives and care staff, it provides reassurance, objective data, and more time for actual care rather than crisis management. For the public sector, it helps prevent avoidable hospitalisations and complications that are both expensive and resource-intensive. Kihleo is working with a hardware partner on sensor development and is already in dialogue with Danish municipalities about pilot projects. The long-term vision is to create a scalable, data-driven platform for early detection of infections and other complications in elderly care, using everyday materials like diapers as non-invasive data sources.

Gire Mobility ApS

Gire er en Norsk virksomhed, der siden starten har oplevet fantastisk vækst og har nu været aktiv i Danmark i mere end 3 år. Vores opgave er at hente og levere biler. Vi forbinder virksomheder, der har brug for at få en bil kørt fra A til B, via en enkel og nyskabende platform. Bilerne transporteres på hjul fra punkt A til B inden for aftalte tider, fuldt forsikret og til faste priser.

SGC - Arena

✅ 1: Short description (the pitch) SGC Arena is developing a combined TCG retail store, gaming lounge and community-driven event center to help youth, families and adult gamers find a safe, engaging and social space to play, compete and belong. We solve the lack of modern, inclusive gaming- and hobby environments by offering a 655 m² hybrid hub built around TCG, esport, community events and structured activities, powered by strong partnerships, low inventory risk and a highly scalable franchise-ready model. ✅ 2: The What – The problem we are solving Across Denmark, young people and adult hobby enthusiasts lack safe, structured and inspiring spaces to gather around gaming, TCG and shared interests. Most environments are either too small, too informal or lacking supervision, creating a gap between commercial gaming cafés and traditional youth facilities. At the same time, parents struggle to find positive, healthy gaming communities for their children, while hobby players (Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana) lack dedicated spaces for trading, events and tournaments. This problem affects: Children and teens seeking social belonging Adults looking for hobby communities Parents who want structured and safe gaming spaces TCG players who currently lack large-scale physical hubs Municipalities who need modern, engaging offers for youth Retail customers who want combined experiences, not just shops The demand is widespread and growing. TCG, gaming and event-based hobby retail are among the fastest-growing entertainment segments in Europe. Yet Denmark remains underserved with almost no large-scale hybrid centers combining retail, gaming, community and structured activities. SGC Arena fills this gap. ✅ 3: The How – How we solve it SGC Arena provides a 655 m² multi-zone environment combining: A full-service TCG retail store (Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana etc.) A high-end gaming lounge with esport setups A large event area for tournaments, competitions and community gatherings A social “hobby lounge” for trading, crafting and relaxed gaming A forening-driven model with daily structured activities Weekend programs with 500–1.000 visitors Consignationsaftaler reducing inventory risk dramatically A scalable operations manual and franchise blueprint for expansion to 3–8 locations Each weekday features structured activities through our association: Esport teams (20 participants daily) Hobby/TCG clubs (up to 40 per session) Weekends host large-scale TCG events, family activities, adult gaming evenings and trading meetups — creating predictable, high-volume traffic. The concept is built to scale: simple operational procedures, strong supplier partnerships, low-risk inventory, and a community-first structure that can be replicated nationally. ✅ 4: The Why – Our motivation SGC Arena is founded by Heinrich Dam Jensen, former owner of the esports organization Dream Gaming in Rødovre Centrum, where he built a strong and healthy gaming community in 2020. When COVID forced that project to close, it sparked a deep understanding of what young people and hobby-focused adults truly need: a safe, structured, social and modern environment that supports healthy gaming behavior and real-world connections. The vision has grown stronger since. Heinrich has a background in police, defence, leadership and youth work, and has seen firsthand how powerful gaming and structured hobbies can be when given the right environment. This is the foundation of SGC Arena: creating Denmark’s leading chain of gaming- and TCG-based community hubs. The motivation is simple: to give youth, families and adult hobbyists a place to belong — and to build a scalable, commercially strong concept that brings community and business together.

Amass is an AI application platform for scientific intelligence. Scientific knowledge is scattered, siloed, slow and expensive to search. Amass integrates across this fragmented landscape; Patents, papers, regulatory filings, proprietary documents and data and applies AI to create a structured, cross-linked, and queryable knowledge graph. We build our own domain-specific embedding models to capture subtle scientific signals. We go beyond simple retrieval and enable users to triangulate across multiple sources and trace the evidence behind any output. Who it’s for: biotech and pharma R&D, food-bio and synbio, research institutetes, hospitals, and life-science investors/BD. Why it wins: higher recall across sources, transparent reasoning, and end-to-end automated workflows that turn messy data into decisions and team actions -> quickly and safely. ‍

Maker is a member-based non-profit association founded in 2015 as a platform for the maker movement in Denmark and the Nordics. Since then, we've evolved from a traditional makerspace into an open lab and community central for physical entrepreneurs, startups and independent creatives. We develop, share and learn together with our members and across projects in the EU, in Denmark and in the Baltic Sea Region. Together with research institutions, companies, makerspaces and governments, we focus on sustainability and physical entrepreneurship; from open-source hardware to distributed design, aiming to transition makerspaces into circular spaces and develop sustainable practices for recycling materials, local production, and more.
