Box IT Design is a Danish company specializing in the creation and manufacturing of premium-quality tablet enclosures, primarily for enterprise environments. Known for our Scandinavian minimalistic design, we offer robust, secure, and theft-proof enclosures compatible with all major tablets. Our products are crafted from recyclable high-grade aluminum and feature modular designs with customizable options, including brand logos and colours​. We have already sold products to various renowned companies around the world, but are looking to expand our business even more with focus on the industrial segments.

FiltraCare is developing an innovative cigarette filter collection and recycling system to help cities and local communities tackle the international growing problem of cigarette waste. The mision is to provide an efficient, eco-friendly way to collect, store, and recycle cigarette filters, transforming a harmful pollutant into a valuable resource while reducing environmental damage caused by microplastics. Cigarette filters are the most common form of litter globally, contributing heavily to environmental pollution. They break down into microplastics that harm marine life and biodiversity. FiltraCare aims to address this problem by creating a scalable system that allows cities and businesses to collect and recycle cigarette filters before they are littered in landfills or oceans. The problem is widespread, affecting urban areas, natural environments, and public spaces worldwide, with billions of filters discarded every year. At FiltraCare, I have developed custom cigarette filter collection devices designed for urban environments and public spaces. These ashtrays will in the future collect used filters, which will be stored in airtight containers to prevent contamination. Filters will be sent to our recycling partner, who recycles them. It is the goal for FiltraCare to be able to recycle cigarette filters internally. Currently I am in the process of realising the pilot project in collaboration with local businesses and city authorities that are helping me fine-tune the logistics and scaling potential. By integrating this solution into existing urban infrastructures, we offer a seamless process for reducing cigarette filter waste. The idea for FiltraCare came when I realized how ubiquitous and damaging cigarette filters are to our environment. Walking through city streets, parks, and beaches, I saw the big amount of cigarette waste and understood its long-term impact on ecosystems. This prompted me to dive into research, learning that cigarette filters are composed of non-biodegradable materials that release microplastics into nature. Fueled by a passion for environmental sustainability and innovation, I decided to focus all my energy on creating a solution to this pressing problem, believing that even small changes in waste management can lead to big environmental improvements.

Blend is a mission-led start-up which believes business should be a force for social good. Blend works with social enterprises who employ and uplift marginalized women from patriarchal villages in India to bring elegant products to the urban buyer in Nordics. Our main product line is carpets hand-made with natural materials such as wool, jute, silk and recycled PET. The carpets are made with the same superior weaving technique of Persian carpets but have simple and neutral designs which suit the Nordic design sensibility. By promoting handmade products by marginalized women Blend can impact 11 out of 17 UN SDG goals. We launched in Q2 and already have our products in boutique store in North of Copenhagen. Once we establish market connects, Blend wants to connect designers from Denmark and other Nordic countries to production centers in these rural villages to blend the functional Nordic design with 5000 years old artisanal talent of India. In future, Blend will also explore tech-based leasing options for its high-end home furnishing range. We believe that everyone should be able to upgrade home furnishings without giving-in to consumerism and impacting mother nature adversely. Blend is founded by Shakti, an Indian who has lived in Denmark and worked at many Senior Director level positions in Danish companies like Mæersk, Deloitte and Rambøll. Through Blend, Shakti hopes to bring functional Danish design closer to the 5000 years old artisanal talent of India. When one wholeheartedly loves two countries so diametrically opposite to each other, then it’s impossible to hold back from exploring what a blend of these 2 cultures can offer to the world. Her desire to contribute to women empowerment through livelihood is rooted in her own experience and observation of how girls are still seen as a liability in many rural areas. Hygeia Sense develops next-generation biosecurity platform that revolutionises virus detection and response. We allow governments to make rapid decisions based on actual virus outbreak data. WHAT ARE WE DOING? We are creating a revolutionary device for detecting airborne viruses from the air and a platform allowing for visualisations and real time notifications about outbreaks. We create a much cheaper and faster detection to not let the COVID-19 events happen again. We decrease the time of outbreak detection >30 times and detection price >10 times. WHY ARE WE DOING IT? In recent years there have been a rapid advancement in SynBio that outpaces the regulatory and monitoring frameworks. This leads to inability of implementation of clear safety rules for virus research and national security which in turn poses a large threat of uncontrolled and/or accidental misuse of pathogens. We lack of necessary tools to predict and manage virus outbreaks and information.

Bottle Hero is an online marketplace for premium wine, craft beers and spirits. We have a strong desire to support local shops as much as possible. This means that every time a customer orders wine or beer from our platform, the order goes directly to one of our local partners. Our product range is put together by all our partners, who are some of Denmark's leading experts and enthusiasts in wine, craft beer and spirits. Bottle Hero was started to spread the word about quality wine, beer and spirits while harnessing and enjoying all the beverages that have already been produced, bottled and therefore already left their mark on our world at the production stage.

Ditur tog sine spæde skridt på drengeværelset hos Kasper og Mikkel Dissing i 2014. I dag er vi Danmarks største webshop med salg af ure og accessories, og vi er på vej ud på flere internationale markeder. Varesortimentet byder på over 8.000 varenumre, og vi servicerer mere end 250.000 kunder om året. Ditur har sit domicil i Hasselager lige udenfor Århus, hvor dine mere end 80 kommende kollegaer er fordelt på lager, kontor og i vores in-house butik. 1 juni 2021 udvidede vi forretningen med vores første fysiske butik, beliggende i hjertet af Aarhus, hvor vi allerede er blevet taget rigtig godt imod. I 2023 åbnede vi vores første fysiske butik ulandet. Fra den spæde start har det hos Ditur været intentionen at sælge moderne og anderledes ure, hvor kunden ikke betaler for mærket, men blot betaler for kvalitet og design. I februar 2020 deltager Kasper og Mikkel i DR1’s program ”Løvens Hule” med selv samme budskab og får derigennem Jacob Risgaard og Jesper Buch med i ejerkredsen. Vores vigtigste forudsætning er, at vi har tilfredse kunder. Vi arbejder derfor hele tiden på at sikre en simpel og brugervenlig hjemmeside med sikkerheden i top, og hvor kunderne og købsoplevelsen er i fuld fokus.
