Silvi was founded by Professor Tove Holm Larsen, with extensive experience in evidence-based research, and Rasmus Hvingelby, with more than 10 years of experience in AI research.

Our founder Shelley started to float 8 years ago in other countries and it helped her to recover from a very stressful period of her life. She was driven to open Denmark's first float space in 2019 together with experienced massage therapist Boo Hilmer.

SENS Innovation ApS is a Copenhagen based start-up company specializing in low power wireless sensor technology, for use in the healthcare sector. Our core product, SENS motion®, is a cloud-backed and medical approved activity tracker in the form of a patch, that can be discretely worn 24/7, and monitors various parameters related to physical activity and sleep. It is especially well suited for use in the healthcare sector and for large research projects. "SENS motion® – For Healthcare" is a system based on the SENS motion® activity tracker in combination with a Gamification App that enables physical activity monitoring in healthcare environments, such as hospitals and care centers. The system increases patient self-mobilisation, and delivers accurate measurements to assist the treatment. "SENS motion® – For Research" enables the use of SENS motion® activity tracker for automatically collecting activity data, sleep data, and raw accelerometer data in large scale clinical research projects.

In a short span of time, Upsound has become the leading platform for recording studio rental in Denmark, both on an hourly- and session basis. We facilitate a large number of crowdsourced studios throughout the country that rent out their studios through our platform, as well as a vast network of music producers, sound-engineers and songwriters. And in 2024, we changed our name from Juicebox to Upsound, re-branded ourselves at upsound.com, and are ready to take our first international steps! But why is there a need for a platform like ours? Countless musicians across all music industries does not have access to recording studios, which is both due to a lack of studios, that access to studios is often based on personal networks, as well as the fact that existing studios are often very expensive, and the common users therefore cannot afford to use them. But despite this, many studios are often empty, as most of them are rented on a monthly basis by only one or a few owners who does not use them full time, but finding renters for the available days and/or hours can be time consuming. At Upsound we try to solve both problems. With our crowdsourcing of existing studios across the country, we can highlight all the offers out there, thereby bringing the customers and the studio owners together. As of today, we have onboarded 40+ professional studios to our platform, have 1000+ users registered, and have facilitated over 800 bookings. But why us? Because we have experienced the problem ourselves as musicians. We, like many others who start making music, did not have a large network of friends in the industry, and we did not know any producers, sound engineers, or studios, and we certainly did not have money for what we could find on Google. We are therefore heavily dedicated to solving this issue, but have also seen the potential for a highly profitable business endeavor. This combination is why we went directly from university, to working full time on Upsound, to creating a team that have all the necessary skills to solve any problem we may encounter, to being adopted into Innfounder Graduate, to landing our first investment in December 2023, and our ambition is not only to solidify ourselves in Denmark, but to become the leading platform for recording studio rental in Europe.

Over the next 10 years - in Denmark alone - it’s estimated that more than 60.000 companies will change hands. It’s the baby boomers that are nearing the pension age. Unfortunately 70% of all companies that are up for sale don't get sold. We want to change that number by making it easier for business owners to prepare their companies for the exit. The platform solves this through self-assessments, which lead to an automatic curated executable plan with tasks, e-learning content and templates. Visiana helps radiology departments achieve automation through machine learning and medical imaging technologies. A routine task in radiology is the examination and interpretation of hand X-rays to determine the skeletal maturity (i.e. bone age) of a child or the bone health. This is a time-consuming task, prone to considerable inter- and intra-rater variability. Our main product, BoneXpert replaces the cumbersome use of a radiographic atlas with an automated and quantitative solution.

At Coastgrass we have developed a sustainable replacement to crude oil-based plastic materials. By collecting and upcycling eelgrass from the Danish beaches we can offer a variety of different polymer compounds with a much lower carbon footprint than traditional plastic materials.
