Startup Guide is a publishing and media company that produces guidebooks and online content to help entrepreneurs navigate and connect with different startup scenes across the world. As the world of work changes, its mission is to guide, empower and inspire people to start their own business anywhere. Founded by Sissel Hansen in 2014, Startup Guide today has books in over 30 cities in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the US, including Copenhagen, London, Tel Aviv and New York. In autumn 2018, the company launched a media website, startupguide.com, which was born out of the desire to explore different types of content and reach a wider audience by taking advantage of the digital medium. At the end of 2013 there was few guys talking about what they would like to do because of the passion of tech and doing things right. About that idea a couple months later Restbyte was founded, we were working on few proof of concept ideas for some time but because of the funding we ended up working on consultancy business.  Anyway we decided keep the initial idea of working on interesting projects which we actually care about and wanted to offer likeminded people a place to work.

DTC-konceptet består af fire måneders acceleration af 20 udvalgte virksomheder, der gennem et styret forløb i et open office-setup introduceres for ti nøje udvalgte temauger. Virksomhederne støttes, udover af core-teamet, med konsulentbistand på alt fra jura, patent, revision, test og teknik samt støttes desuden med CAD- og CAE-software og 3D-print. Vi har desuden et veludstyret værksted in-house med måleudstyr, håndværktøj, 3D-print og laser cutter, hvor prototyper kan tunes og debugges.
