🚀 Plaace (/pleɪs/) is a rapidly growing Norwegian tech startup on a mission to create vibrant streets and cities that people truly love. We do so with a platform fuelled by state-of-the-art analytics and newly available data sources to enable smarter decisions for every actor involved in the city floor. Our data-driven platform provides valuable insights and recommendations based on card transactions, footfall, demographics, and competition to empower businesses and organisations to make informed decisions. We work with some of the largest property companies, retailers and brokers including OBOS, Eiendomsspar, Alti Forvaltning, Stor-Oslo Eiendom, Norgesgruppen, CBRE, Princess, Fretex, etc. We’re at a stage where we focus on growing the customer list and harvesting the market potential both nationally and internationally. We work from a a kick-ass office environment at coworking space StartupLab, surrounded by other cool startups, and a convenient easy (5 mins) train access from the city center of Oslo. Labrador CMS

Labrador CMS is a collaborative effort across 130 publishers in 17 countries, serving 320 news and magazine sites in Europe, USA and Asia. We have decided to cooperate on technology and compete on content. We help online publishers (and even the ones still running print) to save money, free up time and publish faster. Labrador CMS is Made in Norway. uniclub

We're creating a digital study abroad start-up that aims to increase mobility by boosting the encouragement among students within higher education to study abroad. Another motivation for the project was the Danish government's goal of sending 50% of students within higher education abroad to incorporate an international dimension into their danish study program. Given the tools provided by the Government, we aim to educate, consult and help students go take a semester abroad to develop their personal profile. Today's way is old fashioned - paperwork, stamps, mails ( the slow kind 🐌) and loads of Visa's and questions. Our platform gives the student the step by step process needed to get any bigger task done. Once signed up, we make sure that you have all the credit eligible courses you need from our online course catalogue, a signed learning agreement, an insurance and an acceptance letter. All in less than a week and without leaving your keyboard. We started a digital study abroad agency based on our own experiences studying abroad. Having been at a guest university gave us a big boost in our competencies, which we would encourage anyone to do! This is why we developed uniclub, the best way to study abroad.

Momio

Momio ApS is an international interactive media company located in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company specializes in developing and operating social online products for children. Our goal is to give kids a great first social media experience by surrounding them with good friends in a playful and safe environment. A third of the world’s internet users are children and adolescents under 18 years of age, but the majority of services they use are not made for them. We apply a Nordic approach to digital responsibility and AI by focusing on data minimization and privacy by design and default. We focus on creating free, playful and safe environments that educate kids in online behaviour.

Voi Technology DK

We're bringing shared electric scooters to the streets of Europe. Jump on a scooter anytime and ride wherever in the city - all free from emissions. We are creating a system of electrically powered scooters around urban centers to provide an affordable, sustainable, and exhilarating way to commute while helping people to reduce their carbon footprint and cities to have a more sustainable transportation network. Founded in August 2018, Voi is a Scandinavian micro mobility company offering electric scooter and bike sharing in partnership with cities and local communities. We believe e-scooters can change how people move in our cities. And we want the transformation to happen in the right way—through innovation, open and transparent dialogue with cities and governments

Matrikel1 is the  innovation House on Højbro Plads in the very center of Copenhagen. We opened in May and it has been fast pace ever since. It is the focal point for investors, entrepreneurs, creators and disruptive business in Denmark. Specifically, Matrikel1 provides high-end event space, bar&cafe, flexible work space, lounge and offices. We actively work with and create network across all of above.

Swed Fintech AB is developing tech-driven investor outreach and capital allocation programs to help emerging finance talent bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice through advanced, systematic learning. There is a critical gap between traditional finance education and the demands of a modern, technology-driven investment ecosystem. Many talented individuals struggle to translate academic knowledge into real-world investor relations, capital allocation, and relationship management skills. This problem affects graduates, career changers, and even early-stage professionals — limiting their ability to build successful careers and slowing innovation in the financial sector. Swed Fintech AB is tackling this problem by integrating advanced tech, systematic research, and global best practices into a unique internship program. We're making innovations for assessing marine biodiversity, essentially building underwater cameras and using AI to count fish. We're in the middle of a biodiversity crisis, the wildlife population has shrunk by 68% in the last 50 years alone and it is especially bad in marine environments. Think of all the ports, coastal protection, offshore wind farms - we're building a lot in the ocean. We aim to monitor the effect of man-made structures on the marine environment. Pick Your Pour AS

‘Pick Your Pour’ is a unique digital menu - opening the world of taste in food and drink for everyone. Knowing how confusing a menu with lists of unknown ingredients and names can be, we aim to make it easier for guests to find something they like. ‘Pick Your Pour’ will customise a personal menu for every guest depending on what they’re looking for through a series of itemised questions. Saving both time and energy in this process will improve the customer experience in your restaurant or bar. We aspire to be a valued tool for both the service industry professionals and their guests. The founding idea was the wish to provide a possibility for curious customers to find new cocktails on their own, knowing they would enjoy the originality of their choice. Combining efficiency and customer interaction. We are currently developing a software program with the digital cocktail menu for restaurants and bars that want to increase their beverage sales and develop their in-house knowledge.

CinemaTaztic delivers a wide range of creative and innovative products to cinemas around the world. We are currently working with cinemas in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, New Zealand, Australia and Germany. Our products such as The Digital Cinema Hub: The CineGame, The CineCard, CineAds and CineClash all help to make the cinema experience more fun and better The platform connects the cinema audience to the big screen using the CineGame app. The Digital Cinema Hub provides cinemas with audience engagement and profiling for both interactive ads, audience gaming, digital sampling and programmatic advertising. We make the cinema experience relevant to GenZs through gamification, interactivity and user generated content.
