Holmestrand Skitunnel AS (HST) er etablert for å bygge om veitunnelen i Holmestrand til helårs skianlegg for langrenn, skiskyting og paraidrett. Det er gjennomført en mulighetsstudie under ledelse av Olafsen Prosjektadministrasjon AS i Sande, Senter for Idrettsanlegg og Teknologi (SIAT) ved NTNU i Trondheim og  Terje Grønmo Arkitekter AS i Oslo, i et nært samarbeid med Vestfold Fylkeskommune som eier tunnelen. That thought was the beginning of the kenter link opener, and Fask Tools. Aarseth came in contact with Statoil and Havila, who were immediately interested, but that required testing of this then unknown tool in  safe environment before testing/operation offshore. Testing was performed onshore by Kongsberg Devotek and later offshore and in operation onboard the Havila Mars.
